as well as three villa, tiny bridge and river, red maple, chirpping,
a typical combination of Suzhou style building and Chinese garden,
containing some scenery like Liu Xi river. Zhou Enlai, Deng Yingchao,
Chen Yi, Zhang Qian etc. stayed here for several times. |

Record of Premier Zhou¡¯s bronze
After liberation, Premier Zhou Enlai came hot spring hotel
for eight times of which five times he stayed at No. 1 Green Rivulet.
It happened to be the 100th Anniversary of Premier Zhou in 1998, hence
it set up a statue in front of No. 1 Green rivulet to express our
memorizing Premier. The base is written as: Liu Xi hot spring, green
mountain, clear water and blue sky, is everlasting. Zhou Enlai, the
first Premier of China, despite of his numerous affairs, came here
for eight times, left his trace in the land clear water with green
mountain: he talked over national affairs with Party and state leaders,
met foreign leaders here and talked with them, he cared life of the
commons, contributed fund to repair the hot spring public bathroom,
he helped the waiter by three-wheel to send and wash carpets, he by
himself planted trees for the virescence of the hot spring, etc. Hence
it set up Premier Zhou¡¯s bronze to reappear his heroic image for the
sake of memorizing the great Premier.

No. 1 Green Rivulet¡¡¡¡
Built in 1955, it occupies construction area 400.8©O, has received
head of state and Party like Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, Li Xiannian, Deng
Yingchao, Chen Yi, Nie Rongzhen, Beng Zhen, Tao Zhu, Li Fuchun, Zhang
Zhizhong, Sai Fuding, Xie Juezai, Huang Kecheng, Shou Shidi, Cai Chang,
Shen Yanbing, Shao Lizi, Li Lisan. |

No. 2 Green rivulet¡¡
Built in 1956, it occupies construction area 498.2©O, has received
head of state and Party like Chen Yi, Luo Ronghuan, Lin Boqu, Go Moruo,
Qiao Guanhua, Teng Daiyuan, Li Jingquan, Hua Luogeng, He Zizhen, Fu
Zuoyi, Zhang Qian as well. |

Green rivulet gallery¡¡¡¡¡¡
Green rivulet gallery, a gallery connecting lakeside building and
carefree hall, 133 meters long, obtained 160 girders, drew by line
drawing the funnies character in Romance of the Three Kingdom, Water
Margin, Dream of the Red Chamber, Pilgrimage to the West, Strange
Tales of a Lonely Studio, Romance of the West Chamber, struggle between
the Chu and the Han States, The General Reconciled with the Chief
Minister, pictures of flowers, birds and beasts as well. It owes altogether
181 poems, verse and calligraphy of the past poets, leaders and the
famous, all of which is designed by employee Cao Yingjiao, painted
by Zheng Apai, Cao Yingjiao while colored in by other employees, device
as well. It took them almost one year to accomplish in Nov. 1991 and
renewed in 2002. |
